Check out the Lenten Schedule on the parish website for information on the variety of spiritual opportunities we have at the parish. As a reminder, Stations of the Cross start this Friday and Adoration and Benediction following the 6:30 PM Sunday Mass starts this Sunday. More details are in the schedule. There are many ways you can take part without having to make a weekly commitment.
Friday, March 7 - First Friday Fellowship sponsored by the Council of Catholic Women
During Lent, to support the traditional pillars of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, CCW will0 be serving alternative food/refreshments instead of donuts, as well as coffee and water.
There will be a presentation by Vicki Ettesvold, director of St. Andrew’s Shelter. Dave Kolling and Theresa Roach, St. Pius X parishioners and regular volunteers for the shelter, will also present their perspectives. The money that is normally spent on donuts will be donated to St. Andrew’s Shelter, and there will be a free-will donation basket available.
Sunday, March 9 @ 10:30 AM- Spirit Sunday Small Groups
The session time includes small groups for adults and teens allowing them to dig deeper into the talk from Fr. TJ last week. There will also be lesson-based activities for elementary children, and childcare for toddlers and infants. Treats and refreshments.
If you missed the talk, please watch Fr. TJ's presentation prior to the small groups this weekend. You can also click below to learn more about Spirit Sundays, view the calendar or watch previous presentations.
Our Lenten Fish Frys are one of ways which St. Pius X serves our the broader White Bear Lake Community. The proceeds from the Fish Fry support the many ministries at the parish. But to be successful in both areas, we need YOU!
There are a wide variety of opportunities and activity levels. Click on the buttons below to see what is available and secure your time!
If you are unable to volunteer at the fish fry, we are looking for donations of desserts. So fire up the oven and make your favorite or try a new recipe. There is no shame in purchasing something either.
